适用范围：1.1 This standard ( Part I) specifies the general requirements of fuses with rated breaking capacities of not less than 2 kA intended for protecting power-frequency ac circuits of rated voltages not exceeding 1 000 V.Note — This standard may also be used for fuses for dc circuits of rated voltages up to 1 500 V as far as applicable.1.1.1 Combinations of fuse-link with mechanical switching devices are not covered in this standard. Fuse-links intended to be used in such combinations as well as fuse-links provided with indicating devices and/or strikers shall nevertheless comply with the requirements specified in this standard.1.2 This standard does not apply to:a) miniature fuses,b) sami-enclosed rewirable fuses covered in IS : 2086-1963〓, andc) D-type fuses covered in IS : 8187-1976〓.
