适用范围：1.1 This standard defines the basic principles to be adopted for dimensional co-ordination in the building industry and deals with its application in building design and manufacture of building material and components, and aims at:a) making planning simpler and clearer by distinct indication of the location of the building components in the building both in relation to each other and to a modular grid;b) limiting the number of sizes of building components to such whose linkage measurement is based on modular measurements;c) simplifying work on the site, for example, in setting out of measure-ments and in assembling and location of modular building components;d) creating a basis for rationalization of both general building drawings and special building drawings for modular building components and assembly details; ande) facilitating co-operation between designers, manufacturers, distri-buters and builders.
