适用范围：This standard defines a Command Line Interface (CLI) for a storage networking management utilityprogram that is equivalent to the IP Networking Ping function. The CLI may be directly useful to storagemanagement personnel or it may be accessed via other applications (e.g., an SMI-S Client).Whenever SM-HBA defines needed underlying functions, they are referenced. Where necessary, anunderlying API is defined for management interface functions that are not provided by other standards.The functionality defined by the SNPing application may usefully be separated into two components,namely a Parser for the CLI, and an API Provider. This separation will simplify the use of SNPing byother applications.This standard is based on the interface layering shown in figure 1.
