适用范围：This part of IEC 60603-7 covers IEC 60603-7-5 connectors, and specifies mechanical andenvironmental requirements, and electrical transmission requirements for frequencies up to250 MHz. These connectors are typically used as category 6 connectors in class E cablingsystems specified in ISO/IEC 11801-2002.These connectors are intermateable, interoperable, and backward compatible with otherIEC 60603-7 series connectors. While the definition of interoperable is being discussed withinIEC, “interoperable” in this standard means the following: The fixed and the free connectorare capable of interconnecting with any IEC 60603-7 series connector, and that when it isinterconnected, it fully meets all requirements of the lower frequency IEC 60603-7 seriesstandard.NOTE Transmission performance categories: in this part of IEC 60603-7, the term “category”, when used inreference to transmission performance, refers to those categories defined by ISO/IEC 11801-2002.
