适用范围：This Kenya Standard specifies requirements for the construction, installation, operation and maintenance of intruder alarm systems in buildings. It is intended to form a basis for a contract between a subscriber and an alarm company, but it does not specify the extent or degree of protection to be provided, the devices to be used or the method of signalling to be adopted for the protection of any particular building.The Kenya Standard does not purport to cover all the necessary requirements for a particular installation.This Kenya Standard includes requirements applicable to intruder alarm systems intended to signal an alarm condition by any or several of the following methods:(1) Internal audible alarm.(2) External audible alarm.(3) Signal for transmission to alarm company's central station.(4) Pre-recorded message to Post Office telephone operator (automatic '999' call) for transmission to the police.(5) Signal for transmission direct to police station.
