适用范围：This part of IEC 404, used as a guide, is primarily applicable to the evaluation of inter-laminar insulation coatings applied to magnetic steel sheet and strip covered by the sections of IEC 404-8. This guide defines methods of test for evaluating the properties of interlaminar insulation coatings applied to magnetic steel sheet and strip in the range of temperatures from ambient to 800 ℃ as a basis for a type test. It covers the following properties of the material: i) adhesion; ii) interlaminar resistance; iii) compressibility/stacking factor.
