适用范围：1.1 This standard covers four types of carbon steel welded and seamless tubes given in Table 1 and sizes as recommended in Appendix A.1.1.1 This standard does not cover steel tubes for pressure purposes and for structural purposes, which are covered by separate Indian Standards.1.2 Section 1 covers general requirements applicable to all the four types of steel tubes. Requirements regarding material, mechanical properties, dimensions, tolerances, and additional tests for each type of tube are laid down in the relevant section dealing with each type of tube. Any other special requirements may be agreed to between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
