适用范围：This standard gives recommendations and guidance for unreinforcedearthworks forming part of general civil engineering construction,with the exception of dams. This standard also gives recommendationsand guidance for temporary excavations such as trenches and pits.NOTE Reinforced earthworks are covered in BS 8006-1 and BS 8006-2.This document applies to earthworks classified as GeotechnicalCategory 1, 2 and 3 structures as defined in BS EN 1997-1-2004.
