适用范围：This part of ISO 6520 will serve as thebasis for a precise classification anddescription of weld imperfections.In order to avoid any confusion, thetypes of imperfection are defined withexplanations and illustrations wherenecessary.Metallurgical imperfections are notincluded.Another system for the designation ofimperfections is possible, according toISO/TS 17845. AnnexB gives thecorrespondence between the existingclassification of imperfectionsaccording to ISO 6520-1 and thedesignation system according toISO/TS 17845.NOTE In addition to terms anddefinitions used in two of the three officialISO languages (English and French), thispart of ISO 6520 gives the equivalent termsand definitions in the German language;these are published under the responsibilityof the member body for Germany (DIN).However, only the terms and definitionsgiven in the official languages can beconsidered as ISO terms and definitions.
