适用范围：1.1 This method is intended for the determination of benzene and toluene in petroleum products having a boiling range of 38° to 120°C and a maximum content of 25 percent total benzene plus toluene.1.1.1 Paraffins, naphthenes or mono-olefins do not interfere with the analysis. Any interference that might arise from ultra-violet absorption due to diolefins or sulphur compounds is substantially eliminated by the base-line technique or by chemical treatment of the sample before analysis. The boiling range specification eliminates xylenes, ethyl benzene and styrene.
