适用范围：Macroetching is the etching of specimen for examination at low magnifications and is used to reveal the macrostructure of titanium alloys products, such as bar, billets, forgings and castings. The present procedure is intended to be followed for classifying titanium alloys by a graded series showing the characteristic structure and incidence of certain processing defects. This method is limited in application to titanium alloy billets, forgings and castings.
