适用范围：This Kenya Standard prescribes the terminology, metrological and technological characteristics of cold water meters. It finds its application to water meters with nominal flow rate up to 4 000 m3/h and with a maximum working pressure of at least 10 bar minimum.The specification applies to cold water meters based on a direct mechanical process involving the action of the velocity of water either through the use of volumetric chambers with mobile pistons or through its effect on the rotation rate of a moving part of a meter.For this purpose, water should be considered 'cold' when its temperature is in the range of 0°C to 400C.
