适用范围： This standard (Part V) covers the requirements of design, construction, performance and testing of automatic and non-automatic medium pressure acetylene generators to be employed in oxy-acetylene welding, cutting or cylinder filling and any other chemical process. It covers portable generators producing acetylene at pressures not exceeding 1 550 cm H20 ( = 1·55 kgf/cm2 = 152 kPa) of carbide-to-water type and water-to-carbide type ( with formation of lime paste ).
