适用范围：1.1 This standard covers the use of metal arc welding in bridges and structures subjected to dynamic loading.1.1.1 For construction in mild steel this code supplements IS : 816-1969〓 and, therefore, all provisions stated therein shall be applicable in conjunction with the provisions of this standard.1.1.2 For construction in high tensile steel of fusion welding quality;appropriate standards for use of welding in such construction shall be followed in conjunction with the provisions of this standard.1.1.3 Whenever any provision of this standard is contradictory to any provision or provisions in other standards referred to in 1.1.1 and 1.1.2, the provisions of this standard shall apply.
