适用范围：This standard (Part I ) covers the requirements of design, construc-tion, performance and testing of stationary, automatic and non-automatic, low pressure acetylene generators to be employed in oxy-acetylene welding, cutting or cylinder filling and any other chemical process. It covers stationary acetylene generators producing acetylene gas at pressures not exceeding 150 cm H2O ( = 0·15 kgf/cm2 = 14·71 kPa ) of carbide to water type and water to carbide type (with formation of lime paste ).
