沙特标准局SASO于2016年6月21日召开会议决定：推迟和暂缓执行沙特标准SASO 2203: 2015版（适用于家用或类似用途的250V/13A插头、插座测试方法及安规要求）。旧版 SASO 2203: 2003 可继续沿用到新版颁布为止，新版预计会在一年内推出，具体时间待另行通知。

SASO’s Board of Directors held the meeting No. (156) on 16th of Ramadan 1437 AH/ 21st of June 2016. Some resolutions issued by the Board were as follows:
Adoption of postponing the application of the mandatory Saudi standard No. (SASO 2203: 2015): PLUGS AND SOCKET-OUTLETS FOR HOUSEHOLD AND SIMILAR PURPOSES-SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND TEST METHODS 250 V/13 A, and applying the mandatory Saudi standard No. (SASO 2203) of 2003, until it is ｕｐｄａｔｅd.
