适用范围：1.1 This standard (Part I) covers the technical requirements and tests for luminaires for tubular fluorescent lamps for general lighting service, suitable for ac supplies up to 250 V to earth at 50 Hz.Note 1 — Luminaires of special construction for particular applications (for example, high ambient temperatures or corrosive atmospheres ) and hand lamps are not at present included in this standard.Note 2 — Appendix A gives some guidance on protection against ageing and corrosion for the luminaires included in the specification.1.2 Ballasts, if any, are required to comply with IS : 1534 ( Part I )-1977〓. Lampholdcrs and starter holders are required to comply with relevant Indian Standards. Other components are required to comply with relevant Indian Standards.
