适用范围：1.1 These requirments are for the evaluation of the construction and operation of refrigeration and air conditioning equioment for the field conversion/retrofit to alternative refrigerants. 1.2 These requirements are primarily intended to be used to investigate the retrofit of existing equipment to alternative refrigerants for compliance with the requirements in this document and the documents specified in Section 2. 1.3 These requirements apply to equipment that has beebn previously investigated and found to comply with an applicable UL Standard of Safety since the year 1973 1.4 The requirements and air conditioning equipment covered by these requirements include but are not limited to remote commercial refrigerators and freezers, unit coolers, condensing units, split-system central cooling air conditioners and heat pumps, and self-contained equipment such as commercial refrigerators and freezers, ice makers, ice cream makers, room air conditioners, central cooling air conditioners, heat pumps, and liquid chillers.
