适用范围：1.1 This Pakistan Standard prescribes methods for deter mining the lea strength and lea count of spun yarns.1.2 The lea strength is the tensile strength of one lea, a skein comprising 120 yards of yarns. It is used in trade for the measure ment of the strength of many yarns.1.3 The lea strength depends upon variability as well as single thread strength. The product of count and strength is a measure for judging the strength quality of the yarn which is much more dependent upon lea strength than the lea count and can be used conveniently for comparing the yarns of different counts.
