适用范围： This standard specifies the requirements for three grades of wrought heat-resisting steels. These steels are usually employed for products, for which the resistance to the effects of hot gases and products of combustion at temperatures in the region above 550°C, is the main requirement. This standard does not cover the requirements for creep resisting steels and for valve steels for internal combustion engines ( see IS : 7494-I974〓 ). Unless otherwise stated, this Indian Standard applies to all types of hot-worked or cold-worked products which are supplied in the heat-treated condition. However, not all the steels included in this standard are necessarily available in all product forms.
