适用范围：This standard prescribes the method of conducting flattening test on metallic tubes, circular in cross section, having an external diameter not greater than 400 mm and a thickness not greater than 15 percent of external diameter for ferrous tubes, and having external diameter not greater than 100 mm and thickness not greater than 10 percent of the external diameter for non ferrous tubes. However, individual specifi-cations for material may specify the maximum diameter and thickness of tube to which this test is to be applied in particular circumstances.
