适用范围：Deals with seamless steel gas cylinders without reinforcements, such as wire winding, intended for the storage and transportation of permanent and high pressure liquefiable gases, of nominal capacity 0·5 to 250 litre water capacity. This standard lays down the requirements for the material to be used in the manufacture of cylinder, their construction, marking and testing.1.1 Cylinders shall not be filled with gas unless steps have been taken to ensure that at the time of filling, the gas is, as far as is reasonably practicable, free from moisture.1.2 The cylinders manufactured out of Type 2 material are suitable as portable oxygen cylinder for use in mountaineering.
