适用范围：Specifies requirements for unglazed spectacle frames made from all types of materials and intended for use with corrective lenses. The component parts of a frame are defined, and diagrams of typical parts are provided. A measurement system and a marking system for frames are described. Performance requirements are given, with methods for determining frame endurance, corrosion, bridge strength and flammability provided in appendices. Frames for non-prescription sunglasses and frames to be used for products providing protection against industrial hazards, other than safety spectacles, are excluded from this Standard.
