适用范围：1.1.1 This standard covers guidelines and methods for ultrasonic testing of metallic materials for discontinuities or inhomogeneities by the pulse echo method using A-scan presentation. Section 1 deals with the requirements common to the various techniques of pulse echo ultrasonic flaw detection, while Sections 2, 3 and 4 deal with the specific requirements concerning straight beam, angle beam and immersion techniques respectively.1.1.2 The guidelines specified in this standard do not cover B- and C-scan presentation. They also do not cover ultrasonic methods used for measurement of wall thickness, grain size, attenuation velocity, etc, nor do they cover ultrasonic testing using Lamb waves and surface waves.
