适用范围：This Standard covers straight handle-type screwdriversof flat tip design intended for manual operation indriving or removing screws with slotted recesses. Thescrewdrivers are of the types normally used by cabinetmakers,carpenters, sheet metal workers, productionworkers, mechanics, etc. The intention is to specify performancerather than design detail.Inclusion of dimensional data in the Standard is notintended to imply that all of the products describedherein are stock production sizes. Consumers arerequested to consult with manufacturers concerning listsof stock production sizes.Using a screwdriver as a pry bar or striking it with ahammer are clearly misuses of the tool, and nothing inthis Standard shall be interpreted as condoning any toolmisuse.
