适用范围：1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for glass rear view mirrors for motor-cycles. It specifies materials, dimensions and constructional requirements for the mirror, mounting and support arm. In addition, performance tests relating to reflectivity, distortion, torque and corrosion resistance are specified.1.2 Rear-view mirrors covered by this standard shall be classified according to shape, geometry of mirror, nature of reflective layer and plated surface as follows:1.2.1 Shape1.2.1.1 Circular mirror. Mirror shall be circular in shape. i.2.1.2 Rectangular mirror. Mirror shall be rectangular in shape.1.2.2 Geometry1.2.2.1 Flat mirror. The surface of the mirror shall be flat.1.2.2.2 Convox mirror. The surface of the mirror shall be convex and of fixed radius. The radius shall be between 600 mm and 1300 mm.1.2.3 Reflective layer1.2.3.1 Silver mirror. The reflective layer shall be of silver.1.2.3.2 Aluminium mirror. The reflective layer shall be of aluminium.1.2.3.3 Mulberry mirror. The reflective layer shall be of lead alloy.1.2.3.4 Chrome mirror. The reflective layer shall be of chromium.1.2.4 Plated surface1.2.4.1 Internal mirror. The reflective layer shall be on the internal surface of the mirror.1.2.4.2 External mirror. The reflective layer shall be on the external surface of the mirror.
