适用范围：This specification covers the requirements for electrical apparatus in which there is no internal source of flammable gas or vapour for use in explosive atmospheres in which the formation of a flammable gas-air or vapour-air mixture within the enclosure of the apparatus is prevented by the maintenance within the said enclosure of a protective gas at a pressure above that of the external atmosphere, the overpressure being maintained either with or without continuous flow of the protective gas.The specification includes the requirements for the construction of the enclosure and its associated components, including the inlet and exhaust ducts for the protective gas, and the requirements for the auxiliary control apparatus necessary to ensure that the overpressure is established and maintained satisfactorily. It also specifies the tests needed to show that the apparatus complies with this specification, and the marking to be applied to it.This specification must be read in conjunction with SS 254: Part 0.NOTE. Other electrical apparatus, which can have an internal source of flammable gases or vapours, and pressurised rooms, shall be dealt separately.
