It is applicable to inflatable boats (including RIB's) less than 8 m overall lenth with a minimum buoyancy of 1 800 N and an engine maximum power rating of 4,5 kW (6 hp) intended to be used within an operating temperature range of -5?to +60? It excludes single chambered boats and is not applicable to aquatic toys and inflatable liferafts.
