适用范围：1.1 This standard ( Part 3/Sec 2 ) prescribes methods for measuring the film thickness of paints and related materials. It is not intended to cover all methods available and seeks only to specify methods for determining film thickness under certain conditions.1.2 Table 1 gives details on methods, their field of application and precision. Suggestions have been made in the test methods concerning the number and location of the test areas to be adopted for typical test panels. On other test panels and on painted articles the number and location of test areas shall be such as to provide a representative picture of the thickness of the paint film and shall be the subject of agreement between the interested parties.
