适用范围：This recommendation for starters for fluorescent lamps com prises two sections: Section One describes the general require ments with which starters shall comply in order to ensure safety, and Section Two covers the special requirements for performance of glowstarters. Further sections covering other types of starters are being considered.This recommendation specifies interchangeable starters used with pre-heat type fluorescent lamps and should be used in con junction with the corresponding publications for tubular fluore scent lamps and their ballasts (See PS: 292, Tubular Fluorescent Lamps for General Lighting Service, and PS: 497, Ballasts for Fluorescent Lamps).
