适用范围：1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of test for the following three classes of Internal Com bustion Engine Lubricating Oils suitable for both compression-ignition and spark-ignition engines (except aero-engines) under all climatic conditions in Pakistan.(a) Regular,(b) Premium, and(c) Heavy Duty.1.1.1 The Regular class of oils are straight mineral refined oils and are intended for use under operating conditions where minimum performance level is required, The oils in this class are required to meet API classification MM & DM.1.1.2 The Premium class of oils are additive type, refined foils and are intended for operating conditions requiring oils with detergency, oxidation stability and anti-ring sticking properties. The oils in this class are required to meet API classifications MM & DM.1.1.3 The Heavy Duty class of oils are of special type and are intended for use under heavy duty conditions conducive to severe corrosive wear and ring sticking. The oils in this class are required to meet API classifications MM & DM.
