适用范围： This standard covers classification of aromatic plants used for the production of essential oils, which are at present of interest to the Indian Perfumery Industry. It provides information in Table 1, on the botanical identity of the essential oil-bearing aromatic plants, their pattern of availability, habitats, economic stage of growth, and harvesting seasons; parts of the plants used for processing, method ofprocessing and yields of essential oils; existence of Indian Standards and important uses of the plant materials and/or oils.
