适用范围： This recommended practice describes the techniques used in the production of S. G. iron and covers topics, such as composition of base iron, charge materials, melting units, treatment alloys to be used, desul-phurization techniques, magnesium treatment for spheroidization and inoculation techniques, gating practice and heat treatment of castings. This recommended practice does not cover the production of high alloy S. G. iron like austenitic S. G. iron.
