适用范围：1.1 This standard stipulates the various design considerations to be adopted in the design of self-supporting steel lattice towers for overhead transmission lines and covers loads, combination of loads and permissible stresses.1.1.1 Details regarding fabrication, galvanizing, inspection, packing and testing of transmission line towers are being covered in Part II and Part III of the code.Note — While formulating the provisions of this code, it has been assumed that the structural connections are through bolts.1.2 This code does not cover guyed towers and special towers for river crossing or other long spans. These will be covered by separate codes.
