适用范围：1. This specification covers the requirements for domestic electric kettles with metallic bodies, having heating elements intended for operation on voltages exceeding 30 volts r.m.s. a.c. or 50 volts d.c., but not exceeding 250 volts r.m.s. a.c. or 250 volts d.c.The kettles covered by this specification are of two types: —(a) kettles with immersion heating elements, the heating portion of which is immersed in the water contained in the kettle, and(b) kettles with clamp-on heating elements, clamped to the underside of the water compartment.
