适用范围：Lays down recommendations with regard to safety provisions for woodworking machines and their accessories, in general, and is formulated bearing in mind the Indian conditions of working. The specific safety requirements concerning any particular kind of woodworking machine are dealt with separately in Parts II to XXIV of this standard.1.2 These recommendations do not cover protective measures outside of the machine itself (organiza-tion of workshops, installation of machines, protection against fire, health measures, etc) and are designed to make clear the point of view of the manufacturers of woodworking machines concerning measures of protection relating to the design, manufacturing, sale and use of these machines.
