适用范围：1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods of sampling and test for low density polyethylene moulding and extrusion materials of density varying from 0.913 to 0.926 g/ml at 27°C ( 0.915 to 0.928 g/ml at 23°C ) and having melt flow index not exceeding 100.1.2 This standard is intended to be used for identification and characteri-sation of low density polyethylene materials on the basis of basic polymer parameters and recommended end uses.1.3 Though this standard indicates the major end use(s) it does not impose any restriction. Moreover it does in no way guarantee the suitability of a particular grade under particular processing and use conditions.1.4 Not much engineering data has been provided in this standard. Though some modifications and relevant test methods have been described in this standard, any other special modifications, which may be necessary in some specific applications and the relevant test methods shall have to be agreed upon between the purchaser and supplier.
