6月21日至23日，广东省委书记胡春华、省长马兴瑞率广东省党政代表团赴新疆维吾尔自治区喀什地区考察，深入贯彻落实习近平总书记关于新疆工作和对口支援工作的重要指示精神，实地了解广东对口支援喀什工作情况，与新疆维吾尔自治区、新疆生产建设兵团就第八批对口支援工作进行协商交流对接。新疆维吾尔自治区主席雪克来提·扎克尔、新疆生产建设兵团政委孙金龙参加有关活动。胡春华强调，要坚决按照习近平总书记重要指示要求做好对口支援新疆工作，大力推动产业援疆，落实好重点民生援疆项目，支持新型城镇化建设，全力以赴完成好中央交给广东的政治任务。
在两省区和兵团领导共同见证下，广东卫生援疆工作框架协议、共建喀什（广东）纺织服装产业园合作协议等51个合作协议签约，涉及项目总投资55亿元。其中，兵团草湖产业园三期40万锭纺织项目总投资16.5亿元、解决就业2000人，建成后草湖产业园产能将达100万锭，规划到2020年总规模达200万锭，成为全国乃至全世界*高端纱线生产基地之一，并为南疆纺织服装产业的快速发展奠定基础。
兵团草湖200万锭广东纺织服装产业园是广东省重点援疆项目。为响应中央号召，2014年广东提出全力支持建设纺织服装产业园，发展纺织服装产业，通过产业带动就业。2015年，在广东省委省政府、新疆建设兵团党委的高度重视和大力推动下，由广东省援疆前方指挥部牵头，由东实集团与以纯集团、图木舒克市兴纺公司合资，注册成立东纯兴公司（东实集团控股）。该产业园位于新疆生产建设兵团第三师草湖镇，是由东莞市牵头援建的广东省重点援疆项目，规划总规模为200万锭。
2017年5月21日，首期30万锭项目全面投产。首期项目总投资约13.1亿元，占地约372.8亩，项目采用全国**、世界先进的生产及检测设备，年产棉纱可达约3万吨，带动152 0173 3840余人实现就业。二期30万锭项目总投资约9.78亿元，占地282亩，同样建4个厂房，已于今年3月动工建设，计划2018年春节前整体投产。二期项目引入国内棉纺织业龙头企业德州恒丰集团作为合作伙伴，由东实集团、恒丰集团与图木舒克市兴纺公司三方出资成立东恒兴公司（东实集团控股），作为项目的运营公司。2017年6月22日，三期40万锭纺织项目正式签约。
