适用范围：Prescribes dimensions, tolerances, material requirements of inspection gauges recommended for checking the taper threads on the valve stems and the threads in the cylinder necks of valve fittings conforming to Type 2 of IS: 3224-1979 'Specification for valve fittings for compressed gas cylinder excluding liquefied petroleum gas ( LPG) cylinders (second revision)' or Type 2 of IS : 8737 'Specification for valve fittings for use with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders of more than 5 litre water capacity'.Note —These types of threads also conform to size 19·8 mm and 28·8 mm of DIN 477 Sheet 1 ' Compressed gas cylinder's valves, forms, sizes connections, threads ', issued by DIN Deutsches Institut fur Normung.
