适用范围：In this standard rules are given for marking of transport packages for consumer goods. The marking should facilitate identifying and handling of the goods during storing and transportation.The standard also contains, as annex A, rules for marking of packages with bar code symbols. This kind of marking gives possibility to use scanning equipment for different routines in the distribution chain.The new technology can not however be introduced without a certain transition stage during which packages mainly are handled by conventional marking.
